In over 30 years the Swedish guitarist Jan Gerfast has toured the Scandinavian blues scene. It goes without saying he's an experienced gentleman and definitely one of Scandinavia's best blues guitarists.

A great deal of Gerfast's career has been spent in small smokefilled bars, where beer, booze and oldfashioned blues joined hands. He's a guitarist and a powerhouse of energy, and you better hold on when Gerfast's trio takes off.

With over 100 gigs a year Gerfast is a known and respected blues trio not only in Sweden but in all of Scandinavia. Drummer B.B. Johnson and bassist Perra Andersson are a rock solid rhythm section from which Jan Gerfast excels on his guitar. It's arch traditional blues the trio plays, and it's simply oustanding. Honest, real without any modern mumbo jumbo!!!

Kick Music signed Gerfast in the early 90s. He has now released two albums on Kick. Every fan of guitardriven blues should experience Gerfast!
