A relatively common LP, Rumba Rumbero is unexciting, especially in comparison to his many other rhumba singles on other collections. There are none of the great vocal performances that make this period of Cugat interesting even decades later. This is the kind of "classic" release that causes most people to dismiss the artist without ever discovering the compelling stuff.
