Joe Louis WALKER & Otis GRAND - Guitar Brothers 2002

Joe Louis WALKER & Otis GRAND - Guitar Brothers 2002

Blues

First ..WHAT A GREAT CD..the production is absolutely superb-really BIG sound that'll make your stereo sound like a million bucks!. The songs are really gutsy, and - Otis fans take note: word on the street has it that Otis played a FAR stronger part in both song-writing and production than credited on the sleevenotes. In fact many tracks sound like its ONLY Otis playing with his unmistakable tone - probably the finest sounding blues player in the world today?. As well as the JLW penned tracks, Otis' fantastic songwriting style is very evident. If in any doubt, the forthcoming Guitar Brothers tour should show the real story! Joe Louis playing is also great as ever, but I think in this case Otis deserves a little more credit for this fine example of blues at its best. Oh..and listen to the INCREDIBLE version of BB King's 'Friends' WOW!"
