A historical record in the annals of Spanish jazz history: the years 1968 ran in Madrid and the student revolt revolutionized France and Franco's leaders worried. Hampton Hawes had a contract for 2 weeks with the late-Jazz Whiskey Madrid and through the mediation of Juan Claudio Cifuentes, Hispavox got this wonderful concert recorded at 3 am on grandísmo maestro Pedro Iturralde and his quartet with Hampton Hawes on piano .
